Job Title: Advisory Services Sub Project Manager
Location: Ashby-de-la-Zouch
Type: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum depending on experience

YOUR ROLE
 
We have an excellent new opportunity for an Advisory Services Sub Project Manager to join our global organisation. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for effective distribution and management of all client-supplier requirements to all relevant internal departments across Advisory and Testing Services and providing support to the Project Manager and wider Project Team daily.
 
Key Accountabilities
  • Ensure the client suppliers receive the required service on time.
  • Liaise with suppliers and deal with complaints queries and requests, rapidly, effectively and accurately.
  • Ensure there is a clear communication flow throughout the Operation and to and from clients and its suppliers.
  • To support the Project Team in the day to day operation and special projects.
  • Leading and supporting projects to reinforce customer confidence, significantly raising the bar on customer performance awareness, projects and KPIs.
  • Running projects that span across all areas of the business ensuring these are understood by the team in the context of business performance and objective.
  • Ensure all projects are tracked, with a detailed specification and delivered back to the customer on time within budget and invoiced.
  • Provide structured processes by continually reviewing ways of improving the business in all areas, generating new ideas and actively implementing and promoting change.
  • Customer management: - Ability to understand and anticipate customers’ needs.
  • Team working: - Closely with all staff on a day to day basis, often in the form of support, problem-solving or guidance to ensure they fully understand the customers’ requirements and specifications.
  • Management of workflow using Online Product Approval system.
  • Managing the SGS labelling Affiliates, allocating work and monitoring turnaround time.
  • Financial management – maintaining the invoice schedule and Affiliate cost spreadsheets.
YOUR PROFILE
 
Experience
  • Previous Project Management and Account Management experience (Essential).
  • Retail experience (Essential).
  • Experience of managing a portfolio of projects and working with external clients (Desirable).
  • Food Industry experience (Desirable).
  • Demonstrate a track record of delivering to deadlines.
  • The ability to plan and prioritise your own work and other people's.
  • Eye for detail in the management of accounts, contractual agreements.
  • Calmness under pressure.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Ability to understand and anticipate customers’ needs.
  • An understanding of the Project Management lifecycle.
  • The ability to manage cross functional teams.
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
  • Have an organised and analytical approach to work.
  • A proven track record in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.

Qualifications

  • Degree or Higher level Management equivalent and/or Project Management qualification (Essential).
  • Prince2 qualification (Desirable).
