Primary Responsabilities

  • Provide technical support for environmental, health and safety projects
  • Undertake field monitoring work in accordance to approved monitoring procedures
  • Assist in daily operations of the Environmental Services.

Specific Responsabilities

  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Environmental Services.
  • Prepare all necessary tools, instruments and documentation to perform task.
  • Check and determine the required sampling methodologies for each sampling job.
  • Conduct site survey and obtain samples for laboratory analysis.
  • Prepare draft field report on pollution monitoring activities.
  • Co-ordinate with Laboratory employees for quality testing and clients requirement.
  • Acquire information on instrument specifications and raise purchase requisition for equipment required.
  • Ensure Compliance with the Department Quality System during work.
  • Ensure that all operations are conducted within client and recognized industry health and safety requirements.
  • Perform any tasks as and when required by management. 

 

 

 

 

Profile

  • Diploma in Engineering, Environmental, health & safety or related field. Candidates with higher education will also be equally considered.
  • Some relevant experiences in air quality and noise monitoring, industrial hygiene, environmental sampling is an advantage but not a requirement

  • Able to work on-board vessel and industrial areas when needed
