We have an excellent new opportunity for an experienced Auditor, to join our global organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and conducting professional management system audits in accordance SGS’ procedures to enable delivery of assessment and certification services that meet customer requirements and appropriate accreditation standards.


Key Accountabilities


  • Conduct audits (desk-based or on client’s sites) in accordance with management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001) standards.
  • Maintain a high standard of service delivery that ensures effective customer relationships and ongoing business development
  • Complete all chargeable work within the required budget and timeframes to ensure customer satisfaction and efficiency of the business
  • Ensure completion of all assigned work and relevant documentation in accordance with required procedures and standards to fulfil customer expectations
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting to assist the planning and management of operations

The successful candidate will have experience in positions with significant management system responsibility, and will demonstrate excellent working knowledge of management systems standards, compliance and auditing techniques.
You will have relevant workplace experience within a range of industry sectors, and will have conducted audits against ISO 9001, and/or ISO 14001, and/or OHSAS 18001 standards. The ideal candidate will have completed a recognized QMS or Lead Auditor qualification, and qualified to the latest version of the standard.
This is a regional role predominantly covering the North West of the UK, with occasional national travel. Your role will be field based and therefore candidates must hold a full driving license, and will be flexible to travel with occasional overnight stays.
