Business Development Manager, BE creates and executes SGS Bateman expansion strategy into North America. Creates business strategies to facilitate company growth. Identifies and helps to develop strategic relationships with partners or potential customers.



         Creates and executes SGS Bateman expansion strategies for North America.

         Drives and implements business development strategy and growth plan for the areas of responsibility.

         Contributes to the developing of Key Account strategies for growth.

         Reaches revenue targets in accordance with strategy.

         Identifies new potential customers and proactively contacts them.

         Converts incoming leads into customers.

         Sets up and leads customer meetings and demos for successful project presentations.

         Participates in update calls/meetings with US and SA business managers.

         Coordinates technical assistance on specific inquiries. SGS has a technical staff in Tucson, Arizona that is available for sales consultation and client meetings as needed.

         Updates Sales Force system (CRM).

         Adheres to internal standards, policies and procedures.

         Performs other duties as assigned.


         Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical/Mineral Processing Engineer/ Chemical Engineering

         3+ years of experience in mining and mineral processing plants in the USA

         Sales and business development experience

         Experience in mineral process engineering, design, procurement and construction management

         Understanding of commodities and their respective beneficiation flowsheets



         Bac Experience in Gold and Copper and their respective beneficiation flowsheets



·       Travels 50+% of time. Some travel might be international.
