Job Title: Customer Service Agent

Job Type: Permanent

Hours: 37.5 per week

Job Location: Sittingbourne

 

As a Customer Service Agent, you will be responsible for operating within the office team, whilst supporting client and auditor activities.

 

Key Accountabilities

 

·               Taking incoming calls and accurately recording data taken form the call onto the online system.

·               Using the planning data to call back the customers and book the appointments.

·               Interacting with Customers, Auditors and Colleagues.

·               Respond to telephone enquiries from Customers, Auditors and Colleagues.

·               Support other members of the office team in their day to day responsibilities.

·               Ensuring customer appointments are confirmed and the customer understand the process.

·               Manage customer expectations.

·               Adhere to the inbound and out bound script.

·               Liaising with auditors and colleagues to meet appointment expectations.

·               Ensure accurate data recording from all calls.

·               Identifying and reporting nonconformities.

·               Identifying and suggesting process/ efficiency improvements.

·               Effective liaison with project managers, and senior members of staff.

·               Procedural awareness of the services being delivered and service expectations.

·               Ensure high standards are maintained and errors kept to a minimum.

·               Maintain a flexible dynamic and ‘can do’ attitude.

 

As a Customer Service Agent, you’ll receive a salary of between £16,000 and £18,900, depending on experience, plus you’ll benefit from a 10% performance bonus, retail discount scheme, private health cover after 1 years’ service, a contributory pension scheme and life cover.

YOUR PROFILE

 

Skills / Experience:

 

·         Experience of working as part of a team.

·         Previous experience of working in a clerical/administrative environment.

·         Customer Service experience.

·         Willingness to learn and develop skills.

·         Experience of using spreadsheets and databases.

·         Ability to demonstrate attention to detail.

·         Ability to make decisions when in contact with clients in what could be stressful situations.

·         Ability to arrange workload and prioritise tasks.

·         Effective interpersonal and communication skills.

·         Able to demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt flexibility to change.

·         General understanding of motor vehicles.

·         Computer and keyboard skills including all MS Office applications and MS Excel.

 

Qualifications:

 

·         GCSE A*-C (or equivalent) in Mathematics and English.

·         PC skills.
