Skills / Experience:



·         Previous experience in customer services (internal or external), or a sales environment.

·         Previous experience of working in a highly procedural environment.

·         Previous experience of interpreting information provided, and turning it in to a structured output.

·         Competent skills with Microsoft Windows/Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc) and database applications.

·         Numerically competent with good attention to detail and problem solving skills.

·         Ability to communicate at all levels of an organisation.

·         Ability to handle and interpret complex information.

·         Ability to work under own initiative to achieve assigned tasks.

·         Ability to work under pressure and achieve deadlines.




·         Previous experience of a certification type business.

·         Experience of preparing technical and complex quotations.

·         Practical application of the nominated standard(s) in a client organisation.

·         Knowledge of SGS United Kingdom service offering.

·         Knowledge of the nominated standard(s).





·         Educated to GCSE Standard - Minimum of A* to C in English & Maths or equivalent.



·         Customer service or sales related training.
