PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
 
  • Create and maintain SGS vision and service lines combination to address the growing needs of the industry to rely on highest level of technical expertise, integrity and professionalism
  • Raise the profile of SGS as a reputable multi-directional service provider within the Minerals industry and establish a strategic presence at high levels various minerals  segments
  • Actively promote and sell SGS Minerals multi-services at senior executive levels within mining and related industry companies
  • Manage and lead a team of global sales executives in targeting the niche geographic locations with view of ensuring maximum exposure of SGS Minerals services

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
 
  • Perform a solid market research aiming to establish:
    • Comprehensive customer segmentation segments within Minerals Industry
    • Validate service suites with relevant minerals SBU`s
       
  • Establish contacts and seamless communication lines with relevant SBU`s and identify counterparts
  • Leverage personal network within Minerals industry to raise market profile of SGS as a reputable, reliable and value-added solutions provider;
  • Enable the introduction and generate support for SGS Minerals multi-services at senior executive levels within major mining groups;
  • Achieve successful sales and growth of minerals exploration and production services in line with agreed targets;
  • Engage the Minerals Cross-LOB sales and development team in the sales and development activities and show leadership and direct involvement throughout the whole opportunity identification, contracting and collection process;
  • Work closely with service line managers and development managers to stimulate cross fertilization between the service lines
  • Leverage SGS service and technology innovations in order to use a single point penetration as a platform for further service scope enhancement
 
PROFILE
 
  • At least 10 year of experience within service industry for Mining and Minerals
  • A proven track record of successful business growth;
  • Strong, established personal/professional network at and access to senior executive level within different customer segments
  • Enjoy working in a multi-disciplinary and culturally team environment
  • Enjoy and willing to travel frequently for business;
  • Maintain the highest standard of personal and technical integrity
 
 
REQUIRED SKILLS
 
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
  • Fluent in English. Any other language skills are considered as a strong positive.
