PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
 
To be an active and influential member of the HR team, working closely with the HR Business Partner to provide excellent customer service to assigned business lines and to both internal and external stakeholders.
 
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
 
  • Provide day to day support to the HR Business Partner as per their direction.
  • Support and assist the HR Business Partner and L&D Coordinator with roll out/coordination of national L&D Projects (Catalyst, Performance Reviews, Integrity training).
  • Prepare accurate and timely HR documentation – contract and contract amendments, position descriptions.
  • Prepare starter packs, ensuring that there is a stock pile available at all times.
  • Follow-up of documentation - completion, return and recording (saving all documents to the E-filing system as per guidelines.)
  • Assistance with HR administration tasks including, but not limited to: reporting, e-filing etc.
  • Database management assistance – Alesco, Talentforce and Sharepoint.
  • Assistance to all internal clients with HR administration enquiries.
  • Manage AU.HR inbox forward all enquiries to relevant parties.
  • Manage recruitment processes – drafting ads, advertising, phone screens, reference checks, OPQ, medical and police checks.
  • Provide advice to managers regarding advertising options and appropriate recruitment processes to maximize exposure and minimize costs to their profit centre.
  • Prepare and conduct interviews where appropriate to identify and select potential employees. Provide analysis on the comparison of suitable candidates in the interview process to ensure fair selection.
  • Manage HR Sharepoint site administration
  • Complete visa (temporary and permanent resident) nomination and applications in line with SGS policy
  • Immigration administration (recording of visa details, end dates etc)
  • Travel bookings for HR team members.
  • Awards (tenure and achievement)
  • Exit surveys
  • Where required, coordinate and provide training to managers and supervisors on the nominated areas.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects as and when required ensuring a continuous improvement focus at all times.
  • Be compliant to all SGS QHSE and HR policies and procedures.
  • At all times, comply with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct.
PROFILE
 
  • Ideally, previous end-to-end recruitment experience and/or previous HR experience
  • Computer literacy – Word, Excel, databases, Powerpoint
  • Familiarity with HRIS or HR database
  • Strong administration skills
  • Excellent communication skills
