This position is responsible to communicate and coordinate with clients to help
them understand and obtain international product compliance, addressing product specific requirements for electrical safety and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) in specific countries the product will be marketed and sold.

Primary Responsibilities: 

Project execution, including: communication with client, submission dossier review and preparation, status update and certification dossier maintenance; Facilitating Type Approval and testing in accordance with International requirements within client's budget and delivery targets.
Cross function / SGS affiliate communication - overseeing work conducted at global SGS laboratories domestically and internationally and International agencies to obtain product approvals for clients.
Study and tracking international regulatory change and implementation.
Maintain International Type Approval SOP/Knowledge database.
Represent SGS at external committee meetings related to International Type Approvals.
Adheres to internal standards, policies and procedures
Performs other duties as assigned

Education, Required Skills and Competencies:

Bachelor’s degree or above, related work experience in electronics compliance field is a plus;
Excellent verbal, written, organizational and time management skills a must
Excellent customer service skills
Must be self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
Prior project management experience preferred
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid/accurate conclusions
Microsoft Office expertise
Ability to travel as business needs dictate
