Job Title       






§  This position reports to the Sector Head/ Sector Manager and coordinates with the Administration Head for schedules.

Primary Responsibilities 

§  Responsible for performing and completing the third party audit cycle, and conducting specific training programs.  Also responsible for providing assistance in marketing the division’s services to clients and coaching auditors under training or supervision.

Specific Responsibilities

§  Conducts and completes the whole audit cycle, either as a team member or team leader in accordance with CBE Global Procedures, ISO 17021-3 (QMS), ISO 17021-2 (EMS) ISO 19011 and company documented procedures.

1.     Conducts desk study of the client’s quality management system (or EMS or SA, etc).

2.     Prepares checklist and itinerary as guide during audit.

3.     Conducts audit on site according to procedures.

4.     Prepares and completes audit package.

5.     Communicates with or attends to client inquiries related to the system standard where they had been qualified to audit.

§  Reviews and customizes training materials, when needed, and conducts training on specific programs as determined by the Division Manager.

§  Maintain and expand business with assigned accounts.

§  Assists sales executives during client visits or calls, as appropriate.

§  Provides coaching and performance feedback for auditors under training or supervision.

§  Performs other related duties as may be assigned either in support of departmental goal or for his/her personal or professional training, education or development as programmed by his/her immediate superior.

§  Raises non-conformances or findings during the closing meeting subject to review of the lead auditor.

§  Completes audit reports and updates client’s files i.e. kick sheet, etc.

§  Ensures compliance to the Group and national policies including but not limited to the maintenance of the Quality Management System.

§  Operating to the highest standards of ethics, in accordance with the SGS Code of Integrity.

  • Complies with the QHSE policies including but not limited to:

o    Demonstrates strong commitment to SGS QHSE Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions by participating in safety meetings, completing required training, intervening in unsafe situations, refusing unsafe work, and complying fully with all applicable laws and regulations related to QHSE.


o    Responds appropriately to emergency situations and assists other staff members in maintaining readiness to respond to emergencies within the workplace.


o    In accordance with the SGS QHSE Management System requirements, disposes of, or directs the disposal of, waste generated as a part of daily work performed in a safe manner and in compliance with all waste transportation and disposal regulations and requirements.


o    Reports all incidents (actual incidents and near misses) in accordance with the SGS Incident Reporting requirements.


o    Uses all equipment (including safety equipment) in the manner intended and reports any damaged / lost equipment to supervisor.


o    Maintain a safe and tidy worksite.


o    Maintains awareness of hazards and proposes controls to supervisor, QHSE Representatives or relevant client / site contact.


o    Actively participates in incident investigations and risk assessments as deemed necessary by SGS management.


§  Degree holder of any discipline as determined by the industry requirements.


Required Skills

Experience/Technical Knowledge

§  Communication skills, computer literate.

§  Minimum 4 years experience in specific industry with 2 years of which in quality assurance or quality control


  • Excellent command of English (both written and verbal).
