PLANNER BIOSTATISTICS (M/F)

One of the business segments, Clinical research, is a leading Contract Research Organization (CRO) providing drug development and post-approval services to the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry. Our Biostatistical department is looking for a new colleague in the position of ‘Planner Biostatistics’.  

Your function:

In this position, you will be responsible for all aspects related to the planning of the broad range of activities within the SGS Biostatistical department located in Mechelen, Belgium. Your primary responsibilities will include the following:  

 

·         You will collect the data and information required for planning purposes;

·         You will attend planning meetings with the Biostatistical Manager to discuss the overall planning, make sure changes are noticed and verify the possible impact on the resources;

·         Your attendance to meetings related to STAT planning (internal and external) will also be required;

·         You maintain the planning file used to assign resources, containing detailed tasks on multiple projects;

·         You communicate timelines in function of planning to the project manager and the colleagues;

·         You will also be responsible to check completeness of the statistical binder.

 


Your profile:

 

·         You have obtained a Bachelor of Science

·         There is no experience required. You will receive training on the job. Knowledge of Pharma/CRO sector is a plus;

·         You have strong communication skills; this means you can communicate in an assertive way that is always correct and easy to comprehend;

·         You like taking initiative and responsibility.

·         You’re flexible and open to other people’s opinion; prepared to listen and willing to learn;

·         You have a positive, constructive and professional attitude towards colleagues and clients;

·         Your problem solving and people management skills are well developed;

·         You respect budgets and timelines and are critical toward own and other people’s work; You’re able to document things in an orderly fashion and you don’t mind multitasking and keeping your head cool (stress resistant);

·         You are fluent in English.
