Job Title: Sales Executive
Job Type: Permanent
Hours:  37.5 hours per week
Job Location: South West England, field based
 
As a Sales Executive you will be responsible for selling Certification & Business Enhancement (CBE) services to new and existing clients, you will use local business knowledge, supporting the local and national strategies. You’ll be able to utilise CBE and SGS marketing assets, and make a key contribution to meeting revenue growth targets. As a Sales Executive you will actively contribute to regional and national sales strategies, ensuring a targeted and focused approach that consistently contributes to the overall growth aims of the business.
 
As a Sales Executive you’ll develop effective business relationships with targeted clients in the designated geographical area, you will do this using both traditional and social media techniques and will be the focal point for existing client sales and new client sales activities.
 
You’ll attend client meetings within your designated geographical area, and will spend around 50% of time on the road, when you are not on the road, you’ll be able to work from home, but will also be required to come in to the regional office on occasion, as you’ll need meet and work closely with other members of the team (commercial, operational, technical).

YOUR PROFILE
 
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrable track record within sales / business development within a Testing, Inspection or Certification (TIC) service provider. Ideally you’ll have worked for a Certification Body, or you’ll have experience of selling testing / inspection or laboratory services.
 
In addition, you’ll need to have;
 
  • The ability to recognise and maximise business development opportunities
  • The ability to effectively communicate at all levels within an organisation
  • Knowledge of local business activities
  • The ability to deliver confident high quality engaging presentations
  • A current driving licence for use in the UK
