Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for generating and closing sales specific to the area of testing and certification of electronics in accordance to SGS sales strategies and individual targets.

  • Serve as the key liaison between key accounts and SGS globally.

  • Generate opportunities for revenue growth, in accordance to SGS sales strategies and individual targets.

  • Ensure the alignment and integration of services and operational deliveries in accordance to global Consumer Testing and sales strategies for SGS.

  • Responsible for getting SGS approved by Key customers. 

 

 

 

Specifically These Responsibilities Are To:

 

  • Execute sales to the U.S. based customers within channels described in primary responsibilities outlined above.

  • Responsible for effective and professional relationships and close cooperation with key internal customers and support teams, including client services, global sales, technical teams, and operations.

  • Cultivate leads and opportunities for Regulatory compliance including International Type approvals, US / Canada Safety, RF / EMC, Chemical, Performance, Social Responsibility, Quality Audits and Inspections.

  • Occasionally attend and support trade show and technical events.

  • Develop working knowledge of SGS services to fully present SGS capabilities and close sales.

  • Develop and issue proposals, negotiating fees, terms and conditions as necessary.

  • Meet assigned account and team revenue goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) as defined by management.

  • Seek for opportunities to offer innovative solution offerings.

  • Develop, communicate, and maintain all program documentation:
    • Work Instructions.
    • Standard Operating Procedures.
    • Account Specific Templates and Reports.

  • Communicate and monitor client expectations of execution of SGS services to local lab and global coordinators.

  • Liaise between client / technical/ operations teams

  •  Other duties assigned as necessary in response to business needs.

 

 

 

Profile:

Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field plus a minimum of three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

  1. Minimum three (3) years of experience in project management with international teams.

  2. Previous experience at another testing, inspection, and audit company in North America is preferred

  3. Highly customer-orientated with deep commercial focus.

  4. Highly motivated; self-managed and responsible to targets and goals.

  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  6. Excellent presentation skills and ability to interact effectively with senior management of organizations.

  7. Proficient with MS Office and Oracle CRM; and

  8. Travel: 50% of the time;

Skills:

  • Proven sales performer in the specified industry within Electronics Industry.

  • Strong people skills, including cross-cultural sensitivities.

  • Ability to work effectively with internal customer teams.

  • Proven analytical and problem solving abilities.

  • University graduate or equivalent educational background.

  • Strong written and spoken English skills, other languages skills a strong plus.

  • Persuasive, diplomatic, but always to the point; strong ability to sell a concept.

  • Hands-on, open-minded, proactive team player.

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products, specifically Powerpoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
