Business Manager or Division Manager
Primary Responsibilities 
 
In conjunction with the business strategy, develop, communicate and translate sales business strategy into pragmatic action plans and execute, and monitor.
Organize, motivate and lead sales teams and ensure the team reaches the sales targets.
Manage and coordinate sales activities including supervision of contracts, direct sales, customer relations, vendor relations, and related financial performance.
Be abreast of new trends and consolidate market intelligence to adjust strategy
Specific Responsibilities           
  • Analyze market opportunities, develop sales strategies, plan and initiates the actual movement of services to the customer. Coordinate sales distribution by establishing industry and specific client targets, territories, quotas, and goals.
  • Oversee sales lead and call management, key and non-key account initiatives, and special marketing and sales events; coordinates with Corporate Communication on any PR and Ad initiatives
  • Periodically checks cost efficiency, sales lead and call effectiveness, customer satisfaction rating, and overall sales performance; produces and analyzes sales statistics to determine sales potential and service delivery requirements and monitor the preferences of customers.
  • Ensures the standardization and implementation of sales policies and processes and client engagement procedures
  • Ensures that Technical Sales Specialists have the necessary training and competencies to do their jobs.
Performs other related duties as may be assigned either in support of departmental goal or for his/her personal or professional training, education or development as programmed by his/her immediate superior
Complies with the QHSE policies including but not limited to:
  • Demonstrates strong commitment to SGS QHSE Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions by participating in safety meetings, completing required training, intervening in unsafe situations, refusing unsafe work, and complying fully with all applicable laws and regulations related to QHSE.
 
  • Responds appropriately to emergency situations and assists other staff members in maintaining readiness to respond to emergencies within the workplace.
 
  • In accordance with the SGS QHSE Management System requirements, disposes of, or directs the disposal of, waste generated as a part of daily work performed in a safe manner and in compliance with all waste transportation and disposal regulations and requirements.
 
  • Reports all incidents (actual incidents and near misses) in accordance with the SGS Incident Reporting requirements.
 
  • Uses all equipment (including safety equipment) in the manner intended and reports any damaged / lost equipment to supervisor.
 
  • Maintain a safe and tidy worksite.
 
  • Maintains awareness of hazards and proposes controls to supervisor, QHSE Representatives or relevant client / site contact.
 
  • Actively participates in incident investigations and risk assessments as deemed necessary by SGS management.
 
Profile
 
Degree in Business Management or in the relevant technical subject
A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales either as supervisor or manager
Successful track record in managing a sales force, preferrably in the relevant field
Fluent in Pilipino and with high level of written and verbal English
