The Senior ADP Analyst analyzes, troubleshoots, tracks and resolves user reported issues. Provides technical expertise regarding ADP functionality and serves as a central point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving ADP issues. Works to coordinate and integrate other Back Office applications with ADP.

·       Bridges business system requirements from the end user to functional implementation of technical solutions.

·       Analyzes, troubleshoots and tracks user reported issues.

·       Tracks enhancement requests to existing applications.

·       Provides technical expertise regarding ADP functionality.

·       Responsible for ADP system administration.

·       Maintains system configuration.

·       Creates & administers security profiles.

·       Assists with payroll rules definition and implementation.

·       Assists with HR administration in ADP.

·       Serves as a central point of contact for troubleshooting and tracking ADP issues.

·       Works with developers to define and maintain system interfaces & reports.

·       Manages technical requests and produces analysis and designs documentation for updates.

·       Develops and maintains critical business reports.

·       Works to coordinate & integrate other Back Office applications with ADP.

·       Performs other related IT tasks related to ADP & other Back Office applications.

·       Provides guidance on new ADP features & versions.

·       Communicates business requirements to technical and non-technical team members.

·       Understands impact of requirements to business processes and technical landscape.

·       Develops test strategy, test plans and test cases and execute test cases.

·       Manages defect resolution.

·       Works with business stakeholders to manage User Acceptance Testing.

·       In collaboration with other IT teams, writes and maintains user documentation; help desk Knowledge Base articles and assets; and internal IT support documentation.

·       Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

·       Adheres to internal standards, policies and procedures.

·       Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Requirements:


·       Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, HR, Finance, Information Technology or in a related discipline

·       7+ years of experience with ADP, HR and payroll

·       Minimum 3 years of experience supporting, maintaining and administration of ADP

·       Ability to design, implement and refine complex processes and to optimize performance

·       At least 5 years of overall IT experience



·       Experience with report writing tools is a plus





·       Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Certification of Competency in Business Analysis  (CCBA) certification




·       Language Skills: English – Advanced level proficiency required, French and/or Spanish preferred

·       Mathematical Skills: Intermediate level proficiency required for creating needs assessments, budgets, and forecasting

·       Reasoning Skills/Abilities: Advanced level required

·       Computer Skills required:

·       Proficient in office productivity software, Word, Excel, PPT, Project, Visio, etc. 

·       Proficient with configuring ADP rules

·       Strong troubleshooting skills

·       Experience documenting business requirements, business rule definition and process mapping

·       Understanding of technical application design, including relational databases, logical data modeling, system integration, basic SQL etc. 

·       Knowledge of software development life cycle process

·       Working knowledge of MS operating systems and applications

·       Understanding of Database and Application architecture

·       Business Process Design

·       Relational Database

·       Ability to work independently as required

·       Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding client environment

·       Ability to translate business requirements to system requirements in the right level of detail to clearly communicate system impacts or development needs

·       Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills

·       Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience and business concepts to a technical audience

·       Ability to build and maintain successful relationships with clients (in-house users) and 3rd party vendors via telephone, email, IM, and in person

·       Ability to serve as a sole point of contact for senior members of the business on assigned projects

·       Excellent analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills

·       Excellent organizational and time management skills

·       Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations

·       Ability to develop plans and manage resources



·       Travels up to 15% of time. Some travel might be international.



Work Schedule:

·       Business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

·       Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule

·       Longer hours, evenings and/or weekend work will be necessary occasionally/frequently as job duties demand
