PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

·         Preparation, analysis, development and maintenance of Web Analytic tools in collaboration with SGS business units

·         Give technical and business inputs to the SGS.COM Management Team in terms of streamlining business and web processes, and updating methodologies

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

 

·         Web Analytics – Web Trends (Administration)

o   Provides support in creation and deletion of accounts and maintaining of access rights

o   Extraction of reports based on business needs

o   Customization and development of reports based on business needs

o   Analyzing data logs to ensure report accuracy

o   Analysis and creation of mock logs to ensure report accuracy

o   Making sure that profiles are properly managed

o   Provides Web Analytics training, coaching, mentoring to Internet Marketing team

o   Provides Web Analytics functionality and reports training to affiliates

o   Research and testing for additional web analytic tools

 

·         Web Analytics (Development)

o   Analytics setup and configuration

o   Script and tag configuration

o   Web Analytics integration with other business tools

o   Advanced customization and development of reports based on business needs

o   Secondary tasks and duties

 

·         Web Analytics (Analysis)

o   Work with the Web Marketing/WebTrends Specialist on improvements of the interface, tracking and monitoring capabilities of the WebTrends platform

o   Provide analysis and recommendations for measuring online metrics of SGS.Com and SGS websites

o   Optimize implementation and monitoring of web analytics on the corporate website (covers V2 and V3)

o   Identify effective and ineffective website elements and recommend improvements specific to conversion rates, user experience/user satisfaction, retention, etc.

o   Work with the Internet Marketing Team Supervisor in the development and enhancement of benchmark criteria against competitors for SEO, Paid Search and Social Media metrics

o   Performs testing and analysis on new/applicable web analytics tools and other various Internet Marketing tools

o   Generate regular weekly/monthly reports to pre-agreed specifications covering analysis of web analytics, and search marketing data, trends, opportunities, etc. 

o   Work with the Internet Marketing Team Supervisor for the continuous enhancement of current internal processes, methodologies and systems of the Internet Marketing Team and SGS.Com 

o   Proactively look for ways to improve day-to-day efficiency and automation of activities/tasks

 

PROFILE

·         At least 2 years experience related to e-Marketing (preferably SEO – keyword research, link building, page optimisation and web analytics reporting) required; B2B experience an advantage

·         University graduate in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Information Technology, Computer Science, Social Sciences

·         IT literate with extensive experience in internet

 

REQUIRED SKILLS

 

·         Experience/Technical Knowledge

o   (Working knowledge on HTML, web usability principles, best practices and a solid understanding of the user experience and efficient information architecture and structure

o   Proficient knowledge of how the main major search engines rank results

o   Proficient knowledge in SEO verticals such as link building, keyword research and on-page optimization

o   Use of Content Management Systems and Web Analytics software/tools

o   Use of Adobe Dreamweaver, other Adobe applications and other related web development tools an advantage

o   Relevant experience in search marketing and the management of multiple web development projects an advantage

o   Familiar with a range of commonly used search marketing metrics, and their significance to diverse situations

o   Understanding of marketing principles

o   Process oriented

o   Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks, organize, prioritize, make decisions and work efficiently and effectively under deadlines

o   Technology and Team-spirit oriented

o   Solid interpersonal and written communications skills as well as a collaborative approach at all levels

o   Ability to work independently within a team

o   Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with ability to demonstrate interpretation capabilities

o   Willingness and ability to build strong working relationships with team members at a global level

o   Work confidently with in-house/remote teams, business units, internal/external companies and agencies

o   A quick learner, able to grasp new concepts, understand requirements and translate knowledge into practical ability

o   Able to follow procedure, manage workload, prioritise and produce high quality results first time

o   A strong eye for detail and an appreciation of the bigger picture, understanding the importance of both

o   Work to full scope of the role using personal motivation, common sense and a desire for continued improvement

o   Willing to learn and take a hands-on approach

 

·         Language

o   Excellent command of English (written, speaking)

o   Any other additional language, other than Filipino, such as Asian or Latin languages is an advantage

o   Supports the following office locations: Geneva HQ, European affiliate offices, Africa/Middle East affiliate offices, Asia and American affiliate offices
